Icon MARY CHERNIGOV Gethsemane
Chernihiv Gethsemane icon is in the cave church of Gethsemane monastery, near the Trinity Sergius Lavra. This icon is given a contribution to the cave church of Archangel Michael virgin Alexandra Grigorievna Philippi, who received it from a priest of the monastery Hotkovskogo John Alekseev in 1826godu.
Chernihiv Gethsemane icon was painted on canvas in the 18 th century and is a precise list of Chernigov Elias icons, but the size is greater than the original.
